Feel Good and Look Good

Why are healthy gums so important?
If you have gum disease, recent studies have shown you may be at an increased risk for heart disease and diabetes. If you are pregnant, gum disease has been related to low birth weight in newborns. Also, dental treatments for this problem have been shown to reduce the severity of active rheumatoid arthritis.
You can help prevent these problems and stay healthy with regular check-ups, professional dental cleanings and brushing and flossing daily.

Here's another tip: Drinking green tea has been found to promote healthy teeth and gums. Green tea contains an antioxidant that reduces gum inflammation.
